1) Huge walk-in reptile cage for large snakes or lizards (iguanas, monitors, etc.).
8 feet wide, 6 feet tall, 4 feet deep. Water-resistant construction, fully insulated,
and on wheels. Front of cage is a 6 x 5 double-paned sliding window mounted 1 foot
from the floor to keep substrate out of the tracks. Comes with an electronic timer
for the ceiling-mounted heat panel, and a Pro-mist misting system. Shelves are made
of the recycled plastic decking and will not rot.
I do not have great pictures of this cage, as we intended to be setting it back up
here after our move. There are some pictures below, from an angle. The front can
be finished easily with furniture grade plywood for a furniture look. The rest of
the cage is smooth-surfaced.
It is in sections now, and will need to be bolted back together. It will need to
be sealed with water-resistant adhesive and plastic quarter-round. Bolts are included.
We will come over to help reassemble if you are reasonably close by to Christiansburg.
Total might be $30 or so to put it back to use. Once done, the cage is easily cleaned
by spraying it down, then vacuuming with a wet-dry vac.
This cage cost over $1000 to build, materials alone. Will sacrifice for $500 firm.
You will need at least one person to help you load, and a large van to load it in.
The largest pieces are 6 x 8, and will not fit into minivans or small trucks.
